This is a blog dedicated to supporting gay politics in our communities, cities, states and nation. I would love to hear from activists, politicians, gay right supporters, your thoughts on gay marriage, gay adoption, and any other opinion or comment.
Thank you and love who you are,
Tammy

I live in Chicago and am an advocate for getting gay marriage legalized in Illinois and throughout the country. I am also a strong supporter for gay adoption and same sex benefits.

I am straight man from Luzerne County, PA. I am doing some research for a poli sci paper on LGBT issues. I have never volunteered for a candidate who was not serious about equality and I have worked very hard for a few who were.
I thought I might leave an outline I put together here and see if anybody has thoughts or good resources for the points I will try to make . Or a direction towards better ones.
Thanks and keep fighting for what you believe in.
I.Introductin
1.Open with the most disgusting description of homosexuals that the political hacks have ever thought up
2.All they are asking for is that the government stop proactively discriminating against them for not practicing a life style of subjectivity
II.Who started this battle?
1.Right wing politicians create DOMA battle
1.Use it to gain support for radical socioeconomic policies
2.Get paid, control of Congress and more thanks to fear
III.DADT
1.Wait, we are supposed to fear gays but we don’t want them in the military?
1.Isn’t that exactly where we want people who can inspire fear
2.What exactly about being gay makes you less of a soldier
2.Causing a disruption? Hmm where have I heard that logic before
1.Used to resist civil rights movement against African Americans and women
2.Used to keep African Americans and women out of the militar
3.This “disruption” worked out pretty well before
1.Our military is stronger thanks to African Americans and women
2.Our government is more responsive to our needs thanks to African Americans and women
4.Roman soldiers had rampant homosexuality
1.They were pretty effective for a couple thousand years
2.Which brings us to trying to put this in perspective
IV.Highlights from the mountain of evidence
1.That homosexuality has always existed in about the same percentage it does today
2.That homosexuality is not a choice
3.That homosexuality has never and will never hurt or disadvantage any straight person
V.What one can do to support equality
1.Never be afraid of anything!
1.Especially if someone is going to benefit from it
2.Example: 98% of things on Fox News, 75% of things on the other major networks
2.Tell President Obama you want DOMA and DADT gone this year
1.Because we need homosexuals in our society and in our military
2.Because they will gladly take rights from the rest of us if we let them profit from discrimination
3.We fucked up pretty hard with slavery and pretty much every single time we ventured into discriminating. Lets go ahead and knock of this crap before it gets worse.
